| Job description |
・Manage retail sales group and delivery process to retail customers within an assigned Territory.
・Manage relationships directly and through others with Distributors, Key Accounts, and retail outlets.
・Develop the sales and business skills of direct reports.
1. Build Distributor and Key Account plans.
2. Determine the assignment of Distributors and Key Accounts to Account Managers
3. Conduct Key Account calls directly, and monitor calls for accounts assigned to others. Review current and prior performance and identify performance above and below budget/target.
4. Communicate with Account Managers as needed to reinforce performance, determine appropriate course of remedial action as required. Address pending issues with direct reports individually or as a group.
5. Visit individual distributors, Key Accounts, and customer outlets as requested by Director or Account Managers.
6. Manage relationships with Supply Chain and Finance functions, and insure Distributor compliance with agreements on inventory, sales, and payments.
7. Train and develop the sales and business skills of Account Managers, and Merchandisers to implement market programs and achieve sales goals.
8. Reinforce the merchandising scheme for the Company. Insure customer locations maintain product availability, brands, and position according to the merchandising plan for that type of outlet.
9. Implement sales programs in appropriate key accounts and individual outlets.
10. Monitor merchandising in outlets according to plan for that outlet, and communicate with customers, distributor personnel, Account Managers, as appropriate.
11. Monitor inventory stocks in outlets served and in distributors directly or through others. Recommend changes in inventory level to maintain availability and prevent over-age product.
12. Review sales call and outlet statistics and key performance indicators by outlet, Key Account Group, Area, Distributor and overall. Revise or create plans to address shortfalls, achieve sales plan.
13. Communicate information to other Department as appropriate. |
